Welcome to August 2024.

 

August is for Leo, a fire sign. 

 

Leo is the lion, bold, strong, courageous, and represented

by the sun. Strong warmth and energy, brings a natural 

leader. 

 

Focused and powerful - respect the lion inside. 

 

August is hot and brings the monsoons, floods, and humidity.

It also can bring the dryness and fires. The 2 ends of extremity in

weather. Remember to take care and notice your surroundings and 

self in this time. Keep water, a hat, a rain jacket, and escape plan for 

floods and fire. 

 

Family vacations are over and the kids are back to school. Watch while 

driving, kids will be out going to school, playing, and just being kids.  

 

I Shave participated in many May Pole Dances and they are a great celebration with food and the drums 

 

 

 

All that we plant is coming to fruition to be picked and processed for the harvest. 

Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Can your fruits and vegetables for the lean times. 

Prepare your gardens for the coming winter, move items indoors or to greenhouses for continued growing. 

 

Prepare for the upcoming holiday quarter and close down to winter. Prepare the 

home, make your family plans, and give thanks you started early so you can enjoy the time also.
